Mount Alverna Village is a vibrant senior living community in Parma, Ohio. Mount Alverna Village is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing/long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dust, Mop and Sweep Floors.
- Scrub floors, Buff, Polish Furniture, Clean Equipment.
- Empty, Wash and re-line waste baskets
- Clean light fixtures, vents, registers, Vacuum and scrub carpets.
- Clean common areas
- Assist with meal passes as needed
- Clean Occupied and Un-Occupied resident rooms and washrooms.
- Clean Private and Public Washrooms.
- Keep storage area, cart and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Maintains supplies at a required level as determined by the Department Director and Supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience a plus
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be reliable, energetic and self-motivated who truly enjoys working with the senior population
- Great attendance
