Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Infection Preventionist/Education Coordinator to lead our efforts in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing infection control processes and educational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health programs, staff educational programs, infection control processes, and Quality Improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal mandatory education, infection control, general health, safety training (OSHA), Joint Commission Standards, and community policies/initiatives.
- Facilitate in-service training, observing audience response to training, and adjusting delivery and teaching style to maximize participation and retention of material.
Education and Experience
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- An active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in nursing/long-term care.
