What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Frank Calandra Jennmar Services?
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
-Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation issues and implement timely repairs.
Use Fiix CMMS to:
-Log work orders and service requests.
-Track asset performance, history, and maintenance schedules.
-Generate maintenance reports and assist with continuous improvement efforts.
-Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
-Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong Fabrication, Electrical, Pneumatic and & Hydraulic Skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
- Live within driving distance of our Winchester Kentucky.
- Willingness to travel (possibly extended periods) to job sites within and outside of our
local area 75% of the time.
- 4 Years of experience as a Millwright, Industrial Mechanic.
-Proficient in the use of Fiix CMMS or similar platforms (SAP, UpKeep, MPulse, etc.).
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Working Conditions:
-Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
-May require shift work, overtime, and occasional weekend hours.
Work performed in a manufacturing/industrial environment with exposure to machinery and noise.
Salary : $28 - $35
