What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afterschool Athletics Coach - High School position at Franklin Academy Charter Schools?
Description
Essential functions of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain team binder with up-to-date paperwork for all athletes;
- Complete all required FHSAA courses;
- Organize and run practices;
- Provide supervision to players on busses to away games;
- Represent the school at away games;
- Attend District Planning meetings;
- Complete all required season and off-season fundraising;
- Update MaxPreps within 24 hours of each game;
- Communicate with players and parents in a timely manner;
- Distribution and collection of team uniforms;
- Performs other related work as required.
Requirements
- Successful results of criminal and employment background check;
- Maintains appropriate communication and professional decorum with students;
- High school degree or equivalent;
- Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
