Receptionist / Service Ambassador

Franklin Health & Rehabilitation Center, a 120 bed skilled rehabilitation facility in Rocky Mount is seeking a Receptionist. The candidate that will be elected for this position must be able to work between the hours of 8:00am-8:00pm. This position is a weekend position with part time or full time availability. (Rotations with other receptionists)

The receptionist will:

• Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
• Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
• Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
• Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
• Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in similar roles
• Experience in healthcare is a must
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional appearance
• Solid communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
• Must be willing to work every Friday Saturday and Sunday 7:30am to 6:00pm
