We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence (OE) Lead to help align business operations with our client’s mission through insightful market analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative strategic planning.
In this role, you will lead efforts to identify growth opportunities, develop accurate forecasting models, and support business development initiatives. Acting as a vital bridge between R&D, Manufacturing, and Project Management, you will ensure alignment on project deliverables, timelines, and client needs, while representing the company in executive presentations and client engagements to strengthen relationships and drive business success.
Responsibilities
- Regularly collaborates with Senior Leadership in Finance and Manufacturing to produce forecasting models, executive presentations, and financial-operations updates
- Highly involved with Business Development proposals and RFP design, including executive representation to potential clients and customers
- Acts as a conduit to sister organizations regarding current books of business, updates, and opportunities
- Serves as a bridge between R&D, Manufacturing, and Project Management on project deliverables, scopes, timelines, and opportunities to maintain strong client and customer relationships
- Develops and delivers executive-level presentations, operational summaries, and business updates tailored for executives and board members
- Collaborates effectively with senior leaders across diverse functions, countries, languages, and chemical industry disciplines to drive alignment and success
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven senior leadership experience in Project Management within a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO), with over 10 years of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing roles such as Chemist, Scientist, Engineer, or Project Manager, demonstrating strong technical expertise.
- Comprehensive understanding of chemical manufacturing best practices, industry standards, and current market trends, enabling strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
