We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.
Job Title: Med Tech for Memory Care & Personal Care
Department: Memory Care & Personal Care
Status: Full Time, Part Time & Flex/Pool
Salary Range: Experiences based pay for Full & Part Time starting at starting at $17/hr! - After Med Tech training, pay rate increases to $18.50/h.Flex/Pool is $21/hr. PLUS Shift Differentials including $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights and an additional $1 for Weekends!

As a Med Tech, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:
- Assist in admissions, transfers, discharges and death procedures
- Maintain residents' records daily, (ie) weights and vital signs, in a timely manner, and in accordance with FMC policy and procedures
- Assist residents with medication as defined by the medication procedure and physicians' orders.
- Assist residents or families who have elected to use other pharmacies.
- Responds promptly and positively to resident request for assistance, including telephone calls, and requests from family and friends, visitors, or other personnel.
What do I need for this role with Frederick Living?
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be medication administration certified OR willing to obtain medication administration certification upon hire as well as complete a minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually.
- Preferred experience in caring for the elderly with cognitive impairments.
