Overview: FreeCast is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This is a full-time position working in our Orlando office. The HR Manager will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining talented employees while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and fostering a positive work environment.
Pay Range: $72-$80K Commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle in partnership with the manager, preparing job descriptions, job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
- Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Promote a positive work culture and foster employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations as needed.
Performance Management:
- Track performance management initiatives ensuring a fair and consistent evaluation of employee performance.
- Provide training and support to managers on performance management best practices.
- Facilitate performance review processes and provide constructive feedback to employees.
Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations including but not limited to EEOC filings and responses, FMLA, ADA etc.
- Develop, recommend and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental and vision insurance, and other employee perks.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Process new benefits elections and changes in ADP Workforce Now and with carriers.
- Coordinate the open enrollment process and communications for annual open enrollment.
- Help with SEC Audits as required.
- ACA Reporting and Compliance and COBRA administration.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare reports and analytics on HR metrics.
- Manage HR budgets and resources effectively.
- Maintain employee files and human resources records.
Time and Attendance:
- Serve as time and attendance supervisor as needed for specific employee groups.
- Assist payroll with time and attendance and compensation review as needed.
HRIS System – ADP Work Force Now
- Update the system with all changes to employee information.
- Ensure portal is kept up to date with announcements, and important information.
- Act as a liaison between company and ADP on any system issues or changes that need to occur.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of proven experience in a broad, progressive HR manager or similar HR role.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in ADP Workforce Now or similar system.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with Employee Stock Options a plus
