Overview: FreeCast is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This is a full-time position working in our Orlando office. The HR Manager will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining talented employees while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and fostering a positive work environment.

Pay Range: $72-$80K Commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle in partnership with the manager, preparing job descriptions, job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Promote a positive work culture and foster employee engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations as needed.

Performance Management:

  • Track performance management initiatives ensuring a fair and consistent evaluation of employee performance.
  • Provide training and support to managers on performance management best practices.
  • Facilitate performance review processes and provide constructive feedback to employees.

Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations including but not limited to EEOC filings and responses, FMLA, ADA etc.
  • Develop, recommend and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental and vision insurance, and other employee perks.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Process new benefits elections and changes in ADP Workforce Now and with carriers.
  • Coordinate the open enrollment process and communications for annual open enrollment.
  • Help with SEC Audits as required.
  • ACA Reporting and Compliance and COBRA administration.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare reports and analytics on HR metrics.
  • Manage HR budgets and resources effectively.
  • Maintain employee files and human resources records.

Time and Attendance:

  • Serve as time and attendance supervisor as needed for specific employee groups.
  • Assist payroll with time and attendance and compensation review as needed.

HRIS System – ADP Work Force Now

  • Update the system with all changes to employee information.
  • Ensure portal is kept up to date with announcements, and important information.
  • Act as a liaison between company and ADP on any system issues or changes that need to occur.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of proven experience in a broad, progressive HR manager or similar HR role.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in ADP Workforce Now or similar system.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience with Employee Stock Options a plus
