We're currently hiring for a fun and engaging seasonal position that runs through October—with an exciting perk: FREE boat access after just 30 days!

This job would also include 4-6 hours a week posting on Social Media such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Must be creative and results-driven to join our dynamic team.
The hours are from 8:30am-3pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. With an occasional Wednesday or Thursday night from 5-7 PM to capture content for social media at our member socials. The pay is $12 per hour plus tips (average $20-$60 per shift in tips).
Freedom Boat Club is the nation's oldest and largest private member boat club.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guest service needs
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Support team to reach common goals
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Monitor social media channels for trends and audience engagement; respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Edit videos and graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
- Proofread all content before publication to ensure quality and accuracy.
You will be working outside in the elements and standing for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift and performing other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- High School degree
- Vision adequate to read / manipulate hand held computer tablets
- Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity
- Highly effective communications skills and friendly customer service is absolutely required
- Must be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervised
- High attention to detail
- Maintain a clean work area
- Always operate with an emphasis on guest hospitality
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Maintain a cooperative, team attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees
- Maintain a positive attitude toward the dock and the job being performed
