We seek to serve those struggling in our community with a faith-based approach to navigating life’s difficulties and challenges. We employ Board Certified Pastoral Counselors and Licensed Professional Counselors (LAPC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW etc.) to provide the best possible care for a variety of issues faced by today’s families.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed (or license-equivalent) counselor who specializes in working with children and adolescents. The ideal candidate is experienced in developmentally appropriate, strengths-based approaches and values creativity, flexibility, and family collaboration. We welcome various counseling modalities, including—but not limited to—play therapy, art therapy, CBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care. Education in faith-based counseling practices desired as we are a Christian Counseling Organization offer a faith-based perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and family counseling for children and adolescents (ages 5 )
- Use developmentally appropriate therapeutic modalities such as play therapy, expressive arts, or talk-based approaches tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and support systems to promote holistic care
- Develop and maintain treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in accordance with profession
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or related field
- Training / Education in faith-based counseling practices
- Georgia licensure or license-equivalent (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, APC, LMSW, ATR-BC, etc.)
- Experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, and families
- Training or certification in Play Therapy, Art Therapy, or other expressive modalities is a plus
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment

Although not all clients are seeking a faith-based approach, our counselors must be able / comfortable to integrate Christian faith and practices as desired / requested by the client.
