Job Duties:
- Assist Crews and electricians with material requests
- Assists service department with material requests and locating Returned Merch Authorization (RMA).
- Assist Warehouse Manager with Fleet Maintenance
- Operates various equipment and machines including forklift, pallet jack, and vehicles.
- Hotshot material and Pick up will-calls
- Refill all itemized bags
- Run recycle and pallet drop offs
- Keep parts cage neat and organized at all times
- Reduce material waste
- Ability to do data entry
- Completes any general office and warehouse cleaning
Assists with other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, and/or Regional Operations Manager (ROM)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of prior warehouse or manufacturing experience required
- Must have a valid state driver’s license
- Prior forklift experience required
Solar warehouse experience is preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Solar and electrical product knowledge a plus
- General computer skills to include Microsoft and Google office, with basic data entry and excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Possess a trustworthy positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Result-driven and self-motivated
- Must have a flexible schedule
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.- Must be able to bend and lift.
- Ability to work in 100 degrees as well as 30 to 40-degree weather in wet and dry conditions.
- Prolonged periods of standing
