Description
Under general direction of the site(s) Human Resources Management, perform administrative and Human Resources related duties assisting in the provision of human resources programs and services for management, employees, volunteers, applicants and the general public.
- Perform complex, diversified, and specialized administrative work for site HR; providing monthly and ad-hoc reports to leadership, compiling statistical data; audit applicable HR requests.
- Administer payroll function, analyze and provide appropriate resolution to intricate payroll discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support; including, the recruiting process, applicant tracking, scheduling interviews, coordinating the new hire on-boarding, processing forms in new hire packets, and employee activation into the HR systems.
- Organize and maintain the Human Resources filing system; ensures accuracy, submission of records, and completeness of confidential personnel files to the share services files management processors.
- Deliver appropriate interpersonal relationships with site personnel and customers by routing inquire(s) to the appropriate channels.
- Support paid and unpaid leave cases of varying types.
- Assist in data entry; compile Data and Reports for human resources management.
- Responsible for ordering office supplies, making invoice payments, and other miscellaneous purchases.
- Interpret established policies and provide information for the resolution of problems.
- Protect employee confidentiality and protect operations, by keeping Human Resource information restricted and secure.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED AND three (3) years of administrative experience.
- Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point applications, and email abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in database management tools
- Human resource admin or office support work experience
- At least 2 years of Payroll processing experience.
- Experience solving complex paycheck/Payroll discrepancies.
Criteria/Conditions:
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

Compensation:
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $22.00 - $30.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
