Fremont Rush Soccer is a community-focused sports organization dedicated to providing young athletes with a safe and nurturing environment to develop their soccer skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We are currently seeking a passionate, responsible and dedicated Youth Soccer Coach to join our team and inspire the next generation of soccer stars.
Job Description: As a Youth Soccer Coach, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our young athletes by providing them with the necessary training, guidance, and mentorship to excel in soccer. Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive and engaging learning environment while fostering a love for the sport. You will be working with youth aged [Specify Age Group] and ensuring that they develop both their technical and character-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute age-appropriate soccer training sessions that focus on skill development, tactics, and fitness.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, emphasizing sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork.
- Evaluate players' abilities and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Plan and coordinate team practices, drills, and game strategies.
- Assist in organizing and attending local and regional soccer competitions.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff to keep them informed of schedules, events, and player progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training and matches.
Qualifications:
- A passion for soccer and a strong desire to inspire and motivate young athletes.
- Previous coaching experience, preferably in youth soccer.
- Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a nurturing demeanor when working with children.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Coaching licenses or certifications (e.g., USSF, NSCAA, etc.) is a plus.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, as per the practice and game schedules.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $31.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
