Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Orthodontist to join our dental practice on Saturdays. The Orthodontist will work closely with our dental team to create personalized treatment plans that align with the needs and goals of each patient.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and dental examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized orthodontic treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Utilize various orthodontic techniques and appliances, including braces, aligners, and retainers.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists in areas such as pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
- Stay updated on advancements in orthodontics through continuous education and professional development.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current State of Texas Dental License.
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
- Proficiency in Open Dental practice management software (Preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional service to patients.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,800.00 per day
