Job Summary
FRESH IDEAS is hiring an energetic, growth-minded ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER on the beautiful campus of Fort Lewis University. Along side the General Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the account in accordance with the approved budget while meeting client expectations. You will conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs while maintaining excellent relationships with employees, guests and the client as well as other departments within the operation. You will promote the professional growth and development of the entire team. You will be expected to foster strong interdepartmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and nourishing environment for students, faculty, and staff. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all aspects of residential food service operations while elevating the campus dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
- Manages overall day to day operations of the account
- Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training
- Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments
- Works with the Exec Chef and leadership team in creating menus and providing top quality food
- Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
- Experience in CAMPUS/UNIVERSITY food service is required
- Five years of foodservice operation experience
- High volume production and catering experience is essential
- Previous experience managing a budget
- Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
