- Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Monitor data management practices across departments to promote consistency and accuracy.
- Establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities, facilitating a culture of data ownership.
- Forecasting and Analysis:
- Lead forecasting initiatives to predict sales trends, inventory needs, and customer demand.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to interpret data and provide insights that inform strategic planning.
- Collaborate with teams to create and refine models for demand forecasting and supply chain optimization.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving within the analytics team.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with various departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to understand data needs and deliver relevant insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on data governance and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
