ABOUT THE ROLE:
FreshTax is hiring a Sales Support Specialist to play a key role in the success of our sales organization. You’ll serve as the connection between clients and Sales Representatives, guiding clients through critical milestones—from enrollment through post-investigation follow-ups. You'll assist clients with submitting documents through their client portal, collecting financial profiles, and scheduling important calls. You’ll also reconnect with prospects who previously showed interest.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Work Environment:
- This is a 100% on-site role at our FreshTax headquarters in Santa Ana, CA. Remote work is not available.
- We foster a collaborative and energetic office environment, and we look forward to working with team members who value in-person teamwork and communication.
COMPENSATION:
- Base Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (full-time, 40 hours/week).
- Monthly Bonus: Average $2,000 - $4,000 based on individual performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage a pipeline of newly enrolled clients and assist with completing necessary documentation.
- Contact clients via phone, email, and text to verify information, confirm payments, and collect signatures.
- Schedule follow-up calls with Sales Representatives to review IRS investigation results.
- Reconnect with aged prospects and assign re-engaged leads back to the Sales Team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes in CRM.
- Follow up with unresponsive clients and reschedule missed appointments.
- Audit client cases to ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather missing documents and case updates.
- Support operational and administrative sales tasks as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- 2 years in a support, administrative, or client-facing role (preferably in a high-volume environment).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
- Comfortable navigating CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus).
- Tech-savvy with Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack, Calendly, and Microsoft Office.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to work independently while thriving in a team setting.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
