Manufacturing Techician II
Responsibilities
- Setup/ optimize/ and verifies tooling, processes and equipment to meet engineering standards prior to releasing to production personnel.
- Documents all activity relating to molds and fixtures by part number after use.
- Assist in the training of all manufacturing personnel as required. Monitors that all operations are conducted in a safe orderly manner.
- Trains and monitors new employee’s as required on the operational and safety aspects of all equipment and fixtures, assists them in achieving engineering standards and troubleshooting as required, notifies engineering when problems arise outside of manufacturing’s expertise.
- Documents all production runs, condition of tooling, any modifications required, alerts engineering, machine shop and maintenance as support is needed.
- Assist engineering in validations, samples, and qualifications as necessary.
- Operates various manufacturing and measurement equipment in a safe and orderly manner and notifies Lead/Supervisor when operating problems occur or standards cannot be met.
- 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Ability builds and assembly complex assemblies.
- Associate degree in engineering or science preferred. (may substitute experience for degree)
- End-user skills with MS Word/Excel, SAP, Oracle Agile PLM;
- Math skills: arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry;
- Preferred
- Quality experience, preferable in medical device or similar industry that has requirements for lot history control.
- SolidWorks drafting and design experience.
- Understanding of engineering drawings; GD&T training.
