Production Manager
Responsibilities
- Take charge of planning production operations by setting priorities and sequences to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing.
- Lean Leadership: Support the GROWTTH program by mentoring team members and executing impactful lean projects that streamline processes.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and refine operational practices using lean methodologies, ensuring that your team meets the highest standards of efficiency and quality.
- Team Development: Coach and support supervisors on staffing and personnel issues, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure plant staff adhere to company policies, safety rules, and conduct guidelines, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by developing your team, enhancing processes, reducing costs, and delivering superior customer service and on-time delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Review activity reports and financial statements to track progress, adjusting objectives and plans as needed to meet dynamic conditions.
- Talent Management: Lead the full spectrum of talent management, including interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching employees to build a strong, motivated team.
- Effective Communication: Inspire and motivate employees to achieve outstanding results, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
- Training & Compliance: Ensure all staff complete required training, adhering to company procedures and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field or experience equivalent. Relevant certifications (Lean Six Sigma, PMP).
- Minimum 7-10 years of manufacturing, operations, and/or facilities management experience.
- Understanding of required standards/regulations impacting medical devices including experience in medical quality systems, product development and manufacturing disciplines.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams with the ability to inspire and motivate employees to achieve high performance levels.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results on time. Understanding of use of lean principles.
- Production Planning: Proficiency in production planning and scheduling
- Process Improvement: Strong background in process improvement and operational excellence.
- ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) along with the MS Office Suite.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering superior customer service and maintaining strong customer relationships.
