Friends of Family Health Center is seeking an accountant for its Administrative Department.
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- A/P, A/R & G/L
- Bank Reconciliation
- Use of accounting software and data entry
- Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Assist with month, quarter, and year end financial reports
- Advanced knowledge and experience of spreadsheets
- Assist in financial and operational audits
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (Health Care Industry is desired)
- At least 2 years of experience in Accounting or related field
- Meets deadlines on time, self motivated, and takes initiative
- Ability to work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
