What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Day Press Box Staff position at Frisco RoughRiders?
Come join the RoughRiders Press Box Game Day staff for the 2025 season! We have a variety of positions open and are looking for baseball-loving staff to fill them. Job descriptions are listed below.
Pitch Clock Operator: the job of the pitch clock operator is to set and reset the pitch clock before and after each pitch. Must be a highly attentive individual that focuses on what is happening on the field.
Official Scorekeeper: Must be able to know the rules of baseball and follow umpire calls and signals throughout the entire game. A high level of baseball knowledge is necessary.
Scoreboard Operator: the job of the scoreboard operator is to keep score and record it on our Scorepad stadium scoreboard. Must be able to know the rules of baseball and follow umpire calls and signals throughout the entire game.
Stringer (Online Scoreboard Operator): the job of the scoreboard operator is to keep score and record it in the online system. Must be able to know the rules of baseball and follow umpire calls and signals throughout the entire game.
Training is available and required for all positions. This application will close on March 1st.

ABOUT THE ROUGHRIDERS
The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and the 2022 Texas League champions. In 2023, the team celebrated its 20th anniversary and has consistently finished in the top five among all Double-A franchises in attendance yearly. In August 2014, the RoughRiders were purchased by an ownership group led by Chuck Greenberg. Since then, the new ownership group, together with the City of Frisco, has spearheaded numerous major franchise enhancements, investing over $8 million in a wide array of facility upgrades and improvements, including a state-of-the-art HD video board, sound system, Bull Moose Saloon, Bullpen Bar, Riders Outpost Team Store and the world's largest water feature in a sports facility, the massive Lazy River.
