Job Description

We are seeking inclusive and committed Quality Assurance Technicians to work in our fast-paced, 24-hour operating manufacturing environment. The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for inspecting and reviewing the food safety of Frito-Lay products you know and love. Although you will start with Frito-Lay, this job can open the door to career opportunities with our parent company, PepsiCo. We are looking for engaged individuals that will be dedicated to both safety and teamwork.

Here are some of the tasks you could expect to perform during the workday as a Quality Assurance Technician (QA Tech):

• Visually inspect production and packaging of product to ensure it meets quality standards
• Monitor quality assurance equipment
• Reviewing data and camera footage to ensure food safety for finished product
• Complete housekeeping walks and upkeep tool stations in the Packaging department
• Perform quality checks of weight, size, volume, taste of Frito-Lay product
• Collect and reconcile all manufacturing paperwork required

Here are some of the tasks you could expect to perform during the workday as a Sanitation Utility:

• Cleaning the equipment and lines necessary for manufacturing products
• Reading and utilizing required paperwork to ensure compliance with validated sanitation operating procedures and validating work completion
• General cleaning in and around the plant
• Inspecting equipment with a flashlight to verify successful cleaning

We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and our jobs are physical! In this position, you can expect to work on your feet the entirety of your shift near heavy machinery in a loud manufacturing environment. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature is limited. Indoor warehouse working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You can climb, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant
• You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces
