Fritzy's Roller Skate Shop in San Diego, CA is looking for a retail salesperson to join our amazing team. We have openings at both our Pacific Beach location and Tacoma location. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated and hard-working.Retail Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.Serves customers by helping them select products and escorting them to racks and counters when suggesting products.Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.Responds to customers’ questions.Provides outstanding customer service.Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.Manages financial transactions.Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.Alerts management of potential security issues.Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing store goals and helping as needed.Use sound judgment to solve customer problems.Maintain scheduling commitmentsRetail Sales Associate Skills & QualificationsFriendly and outgoing personalityExcellent verbal skillsAble to problem solve as issues ariseGood ListeningExcellent customer serviceSelling to customer needsProduct knowledgePeople skillsPositive Energy levelDependabilityGeneral math skillsJob knowledgeEducation and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or GED0-1 years of retail experience desiredThis is an in-store only job, we are not seeking telework staff at this time.
