Machine Operator

Overview

As a Machine Operator you will be required to skillfully work with our team manufacturing internally various custom applications specifically to customer request. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Use shop drawings and specs to plan completion of pieces.
• Cut, grind, machine and form work pieces as required accurately
• Must be proficient with all measuring equipment (tape measures, calipers, and various angle gauges)
• Produce high quality finished products

Experience and Skills

• Must have good work ethic and desire to produce high quality product for our customers
• Accupress/ETS3000 control experience, preferred
• Sheet metal fabrication using roll and press brake
• Ability to setup and program machines
• Ability to use light machinery and power equipment
• Must be punctual and maintain a good attendance record
• Must be self-motivated and stay productive
• Must be committed to safety and shop cleanliness
• Must have a positive attitude and work within the team
• Must be willing to learn new skills

Qualifications:

• High Scholl Diploma or GED
• Proven experience with metal fabrication
• Experience in using electrical and manual tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Two or more years of press brake experience

Physical Requirements

• Stand for long periods of time.
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
