Warehouse Picker/Packer

Overview:

Fry Reglet is seeking a highly organized and motivated Picker Packer with a keen sense of efficiency and urgency responsible for the picking and packing of raw materials into finished goods inventory.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Uses available resources including reveal gauges, display boards, and brochures to ensure all staged material has been pulled correctly.
• Verifies the quantity of material staged versus amount required on production order
• Documents any discrepancies identified during the verification process
• Packs raw material into the correct boxes
• Ensures all finished materials are labeled with correct part numbers and quantity. Also checks production order for accuracy
• Completes production orders listing all required information regarding:

*Quantity produced.

*Amount of material scrapped

*Production time required

*Location of finished good material

• Pick materials from POR’s provided by Inventory Warehouse system
• Uses scan gun to complete transaction in Navision
• Uses forklift to obtain materials from rack locations
• Assists with picking transfer orders
• Assists with receiving incoming goods
• Picks from finished goods to support Packers
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace using 5S principals
• Assists in other areas of production as needed
• Follows all safety procedures regarding proper PPE requirements, equipment usage, and maintenance documentation

Experience and Skills:

• Familiar operating hand tools and measuring tape
• Attention to detail

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year manufacturing warehouse experience

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting Requirements: Be able to lift 35-50 lbs.
• Standing: For long period of times
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Repeat the same movements
• At times dusty due to the manufacturing aspect
• The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions, including temperature changes within warehouse setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
