Job Summary:
This position's responsibility will include but not be limited to the following essential functions: sampling, QC process checks, and compliance with QC specifications and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform quality process checks on food process procedures.
· Ensure compliance with quality control specifications, quality control procedures, sanitary specifications and sanitary procedures, including HACCP and GMPS, in all areas of all facilities.
· Obtain product samples during work shift processing for laboratory testing.
· Responsible for performing chemical analyses on incoming ingredients, finished and developmental products. Includes electronic filing of incoming ingredient COAs.
· Oversee the timely use of raw materials and the flow of production to ensure that there is no contamination of food products prior to, during, or immediately following production.
· Print required product labels to match daily production.
· Perform weekly and monthly swabs to maintain compliance with Environmental Monitoring Program.
· Perform daily Pre-Operational and Post-Operational Inspections, including ATP Swabs
· Determines the amounts of salt, fat and/or tocopherol to be added to the beef, chicken, and fat products as needed.
· Responsible for turbidity and brix analyses on the chicken broth prior to, during, and after evaporation.
· Cross-train in Microbiology lab with QC Laboratory Lead
· Other duties as assigned.

· The ability to be standing, walking, bending, and traveling “on foot” between plant locations the majority of every work day.
· Hours vary based on production schedules; overtime may be a possibility and required.
Mandatory Job Qualifications:
· Previous Quality Control experience preferred.
· Food analysis and processing experience preferred.
· Biology or STEM degrees preferred.
