ESSENTIAL RESSPONSIBILITES:
- Trains and coaches all Room Service employees on 4 star service standards to ensure the best customer experience.
- Assist with scheduling staff in an efficient manner to best cover the demands of the business. Monitors that all scheduled staff have reported to work and makes schedule adjustments for proper coverage as needed.
- When necessary, acts as a backup for Room Service staff by taking orders and delivering meals to designated rooms.
- Committed to providing the highest level of customer service. Communicates effectively to develop good working relationships with all guests and co-workers, both over the phone and in person.
- Knowledgeable about the in-room dining menu. Able to answer any and all questions guests may have and provide recommendations if requested.
- Provides guests with accurate information about the in-room dining meal delivery.
- Proficient in entering in-room dining orders into the point-of-sale system.
- Prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Responds to all customer complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner. Resolves any problems involving guest or Room Service employees, involving security if necessary.
- Within the realm of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment. Perform duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes use of safety equipment. Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions as directed. Trains staff to do the same.
- Attends frequent meetings with the Food & Beverage Director. Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
