Join the team as a Child Care Technician at Full Potential Child Development Center in Little Rock! Full Potential is a day treatment program for children with disabilities and special needs. Children receive speech, occupational, physical, and developmental therapy services in a structured school setting. Child Care Licensing requirements and Medicaid guidelines are enforced. This is a full time position with competitive pay and benefits. Compassion and care for children and families is of utmost importance.
Responsibilities include providing high quality educational services to children with developmental delays and accurately documenting patient progress. Structured daily schedules and educational curriculum are expected to be implemented within each class. Applicants must be willing to work in a fast paced environment and be flexible in regards to daily classroom placement changes. Active engagement with children and ability to work together with a multidisciplinary team is required.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Further education and child care training certifications are valued as well. Experience working in a professional child care setting is preferred. Must pass criminal, adult, and child maltreatment background checks as well as a drug screen. Facial piercings and clear spacers are not allowed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
