What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time STEAM Teacher position at Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead?
The Part Time STEAM teacher at Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead is a passionate, energetic individual with experience working with children in small and large groups in an educational setting. They are responsible for leading a lesson for student groups of up to 12 students. Must have a clean driving record.
- Arrive at 2:00 pm for setup and organization
- Drive a STEAM van to pick up students from specified schools
- Lead a STEAM related lesson with the benefit of a pre-created lesson plan
- Take attendance in Staff Portal
- Assist in organization and management of all students at Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead
- Assist in snack time setup and cleanup
- Give STEAM Cents to students for positive behavior and performance
- “Bank” STEAM Cents at the end of the day
- Sort/organize student booklets
- Assist in end-of-the-day cleanup
- Assist in check-in/check-out when available
- Provide homework help for students as needed
- Maintain Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead tech & equipment
- Help/play with/guide students during Free Explore
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
