Purpose of the Position:
The OSP Project Manager will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the construction and deployment of FTTx projects across multiple locations nationwide. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and extensive experience in outside plant (OSP) construction to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple FTTx construction projects from initiation through completion. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet all contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Provide direction, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
- Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and manage resources effectively. Prepare and submit regular progress reports and financial updates to senior management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Obtain necessary permits and approvals and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise during the construction process. Implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns or inquiries promptly.

Proficient in project management software and tools.
In-depth knowledge of OSP construction practices, including fiber optics, trenching, and conduit installation.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced AutoCAD experience is recommended.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to adapt to changes in scope of work and priority.
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements
Professional level experience using Microsoft office suite & Outlook.
Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat (pdf files), digital photographs (jpeg files).
Familiar with databases and the process of uploading and downloading of data
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (but not required).
Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are a plus
Minimum 3-5 years related OSP construction management, with a strong background in FTTx projects.
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and leading construction teams.
Location:
Remote work available with a dedicated space for a home office and reliable and fast internet connection.
