Your Responsibilities
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll play a key role in our daily operations by:
- Client Payroll Processing:
- Facilitate and coordinate client payroll submissions.
- Input and verify payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Follow each client' unique payroll process to assure on time and accurate completion
- Update payroll records and process routine changes to employee records.
- Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Conduct basic reconciliation and auditing during each pay cycle.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors.
- Prepare and submit IRS and regulatory reports as needed.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Respond to pay-related inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Alert clients and employees about banking holidays, new processes, and policy updates.
- Schedule and facilitate client training meetings.
- Support Administrative Tasks:
- Answer inbound phone calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate parties.

Requirements
- Experience in payroll or administrative support. 1-2 years experience as a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Assistant preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting, payroll processes and client business needs.
- Must be eligible for bonding.
- Associate diploma or greater
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Verified Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and Word)
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, high-energy attitude
- Self-Efficacy: Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set

You must also have at least three year's experience in the industry of Insurance, Payroll, Human Resources, and/or Benefit Enrollment. The dress attire is business casual.
