Fun Fur Pets in La Crosse, WI is looking for a Part-Time Front Desk Receptionists to join our 22-person strong team. We are located on 1404 Green Bay Street in La Crosse. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.
The Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist would be for (3) days a week with the hours of 6 : 00 am to 1 : 00 pm or 1 : 00 pm to 6 : 30 pm and every other Saturday. We do have shorter shifts on Sundays for additional hours for our boarding clients.
Responsibilities :
- This position is very fast paced; you must be an excellent MULTI-TASKER—there will be 80 dogs leaving in a 2-hour period that you must check out, call for, and collect payment for, all while answering the phone, responding to emails, etc.
- Must have great customer service skills, know how to defuse a situation and how to communicate effectively via in person, over the phone, and email.
- The lobby must be kept clean and wiped down frequently, all products displayed appropriately.
- Must love dogs! (We also board other domesticated animals, including, but not limited to : Kitties, Pigs, Ferrets, and Bunnies).
- Care for the cats and other small animals in rooms near the lobby, including scooping litter and giving medication.
- If you are addicted to your phone, or call in sick frequently this is not the job for you!
- We pay for performance so if you are a hard worker who takes direction well, are quick on your feet and have initiative to make your job great then this may be the job for you.

- YOU MUST BE A GREAT COMMUNICATOR AND PRESENT YOURSELF IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER (tattoos acceptable).
Employees will receive online employee training in addition to hands-on learning and have the opportunity for a raise upon each online training course completion every two weeks during their 60-day probationary period.
