We're looking for a reliable Senior Medical Secretary to perform various administrative tasks at our office. As a Senior Medical Secretary, you must be organized and highly efficient in keeping our team on schedule. We expect you to perform various administrative duties, like special events planning and organizing. You will be responsible for handling all patient correspondence and answering phone calls. We look for a variety of skills, such as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your role will be to safeguard our team’s productivity and maintain high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and format reports, case notes and correspondence.
  • Enter and verify clinical information in the computerized system.
  • Collect, compile and prepare data for statistical analysis and presentation of data.
  • Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, filing and faxing documents.
  • Maintain medical records on paper or in electronic format.
  • Order, check and receive laboratory supplies, hospital supplies and medical equipment.
  • Recruit, hire and train office staff.
  • Organize medical staff meetings (e.g. annual review of all employees etc.).
  • Oversee daily operations of the office (e.g. manage the supply budget, process payroll etc.).
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team by scheduling appointments, booking travel, tracking inventory etc..
  • Fulfill clerical needs of office staff members such as billing companies, insurance companies etc..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
