Mobile Dog Groomer

Owner-operated mobile grooming business seeking an experienced pet groomer for a mobile position

This is not an entry-level position — we’re looking for someone confident, efficient, and compassionate who can work independently in a mobile setting.

If you take pride in your grooms, communicate well with clients, and can safely handle dogs of all sizes, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience (salon or mobile)
• Ability to complete full grooms independently from start to finish
• Confident handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments
• Strong scissoring and breed-standard knowledge preferred
• Patience and gentle handling skills are a must
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable driving and operating a large grooming vehicle
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with clients
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift dogs as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Perform full-service grooms including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, scissoring, nail trims, ear cleaning, etc.
• Ensure pets are handled safely and humanely at all times
• Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming workspace inside the mobile unit
• Communicate clearly with pet parents about coat condition, behavior, and grooming needs
• Manage time efficiently to stay on schedule
• Monitor pets for any health or skin concerns and report findings
• Provide a positive, low-stress grooming experience for every dog
