- Security Monitoring: Utilize Microsoft Defender to monitor and analyze system alerts, detect potential threats, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Phishing Management: Identify and manage phishing attempts, ensuring quick resolution and educating end-users on recognizing phishing attacks.
- Email Security: Support the management and configuration of Proofpoint to filter and secure incoming and outgoing email communications.
- System Administration: Assist with the administration of both Linux and Windows environments, ensuring systems are secure, updated, and operating efficiently.
- Incident Response: Participate in the incident response process, including documenting and reporting on security events and breaches.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems and processes comply with internal security policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 years of experience with Microsoft Defender, phishing management, and Proofpoint.
- Operating Systems: 1 years of experience working with Linux and Windows environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with other security tools and technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security , Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or similar.
