Overview
Fusion Networks is hiring an entry-level Installation Technician to join our Field Services Team. This role is ideal for someone eager to build hands-on experience in data and voice networking while working closely with clients and internal teams. You’ll be trained and mentored while supporting on-site installations, troubleshooting, and customer service across the tri-state area.
Key Responsibilities
· Install and troubleshoot network and voice equipment at client sites
· Configure and deploy hosted VoIP phones
· Work with Support and Logistics teams to complete installs on time
· Document installation and maintenance work
· Maintain tools, cables, and installation materials
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Willingness to learn and troubleshoot technical issues
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
· Comfortable with extensive driving and NYC travel
· Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and use basic tools (e.g., drill)
Preferred Experience
· IT installation or support
· VoIP systems
· Cable running
Travel & Schedule
· Based out of Port Jefferson, NY
· Travel across Long Island, NYC, Westchester, and occasionally NJ, CT, PA
· Monday–Friday with day/evening shifts
