Position: Physical Therapy Aide
Job Description:
The Physical Therapy Aide is responsible for providing excellent services to patients. The Aide's primary role is to support the Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistances in the treatment of patients. The Aide will assist setting up equipment and exercises for patients, keeping the therapy clinic clean and organized, and assist in administrative duties such as scheduling patients and answering the phone.
Core Functions:
·Assist the Therapy staff with examination, treatment, and follow up of patients
·Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering the phone, maintaining/organizing paper work.
·Ensure that all patient care procedures are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice
·Conducts appropriate safety checks on equipment and supplies used in treatment rooms to maintain quality patient care and safety.
·Ensure that all necessary medical supplies are available for treatment needs
·Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements:
·High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
·Experience preferred
·Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
