🔧 Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) – MEP Consulting
📍 Charlotte, NC
We’re partnering with a well-established MEP consulting firm in Charlotte that’s looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer who still enjoys being hands-on with design. This is a technical, production-focused role, not a people manager; ideal for someone who wants to stay close to the work while collaborating with architects, clients, and project teams.
🔹 What We’re Looking For
- 15 years of HVAC design experience
- Strong background in MEP consulting, particularly architect-led projects
- Deep experience with hydronic systems: Chilled water, hot water, steam, BAS
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit (required)
- Trace 700 experience for cooling loads preferred (energy modeling a plus)
- Healthcare / hospital / commercial buildings project experience is a plus
Comfortable with:
- Hands-on design & production
- Client meetings
- Site visits & inspections
- Stable work history with longer-term engagements strongly preferred
This role is for someone who wants to design, problem-solve, and stay technically sharp—not manage a large team.
