Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Human Resources Administration Specialist to join our innovative team, focusing sustainment and maintenance of existing government applications.
The Human Resources Administration Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing HR operations through systematic management of personnel systems, data processes, and evaluation procedures while ensuring compliance with military personnel policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize HR operational systems including personnel management platforms, payroll processing, and data tracking systems to ensure continuous and efficient functioning of all HR processes
- Coordinate personnel matters, including processing evaluations, managing promotions, maintaining training schedules, and updating documentation
- Manage performance evaluation processes including timely submission of reports, quality control reviews, and coordination with supervisors to maintain comprehensive personnel documentation
- Provide career development support through personnel interviews, PDS record updates, and guidance on career progression opportunities within military frameworks
- Conduct regular system evaluations and implement updates to adapt to changing policies, workforce needs, and organizational requirements while maintaining data integrity and security
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in military HR administration
- Experience with military personnel management systems and databases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on HR applications
- Knowledge of military personnel policies and evaluation procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with performance evaluation processes and documentation
- Knowledge of government ethics requirements
- Background in military career development and progression tracking
- Experience in payroll processing and personnel data systems
