Inside Sales Representative

G&A Partners' client is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join its team in Houston, TX.

Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for preparing and submitting quotations, processing customer orders, and handling customer service activities such as order expediting, shipment tracking, and inventory coordination.

Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and submit customer quotations.

• Process and enter customer orders into the system.

• Handle customer service activities including:

  • Responding to inquiries via phone and email.

  • Expediting orders and providing shipment and delivery updates.

  • Processing Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) as needed.

• Maintain and verify consignment inventory in coordination with Sales Representatives; replenish inventory as necessary.

• Answer incoming telephone calls as needed.

Required Competencies

• Must be able to read and write in English or Spanish.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Customer-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 2–4 years of inside sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

• 1–2 years of experience with:

  • Word processing

  • Spreadsheets and databases

  • Accounting or order management software
