What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lease Operator/Pumper position at G-Force & Associates, Inc.?
G Force is currently seeking to add a full-time Lease Operator in the South Texas region.
A lease operator will be monitoring and reporting on production and other pertinent well information. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Gauge production on assigned wells and record gauge readings, downtime, and other pertinent well information.
· Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments. Plunger experience preferred.
· Note problems and/or recommend a course of action to the supervisor to minimize costs and maximize production.
· Assist with pump and compressor maintenance such as oil changes, obtaining oil samples for analysis, test, and repairs.
· Attend and participate in daily production meetings, monthly safety meetings, and quarterly well reviews.
· Utilize SCADA to monitor and evaluate well performance and facility status, respond to SCADA alarms if required.
· Perform work in a manner that ensures the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells, equipment, and lease for which the pumper is responsible.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
· A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
· The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions is required.
· Basic computer skills such as: opening, creating, and updating content in MS Word documents and Excel spreadsheets is required.
· Must be dependable, have the ability to work overtime, rotating schedules, and willingness to be on call 24/7
· 1 year of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience is preferred.
