Unarmed Security Guard

G-Force Security Solutions is currently recruiting unarmed safety and security guards for schools, hotels, local events, etc. Candidates MUST be available/willing to work all shifts, including weekend activities. Availability to work Friday evenings in the fall is required, as this is our busiest time of the year. Employment is conditional upon the satisfactory completion of all clearances. Training and company apparel provided.

Pay: $14 per hour to start

Responsibilities:

• To identify anyone involved in altercations

• Have knowledge of and follow all safety/security protocols at each assigned venue

• Complete routine building safety and security checks, as needed

• Interact with client/public in a positive, courteous manner reflective of the company values

• Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence

• Performing access control procedures on vehicles, personnel, and visitors

• Patrolling the buildings, facilities, and perimeters of the premises

• Informing personnel and visitors of security procedures, as well as acting upon non-compliance

• Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems

• Investigating suspicious activities and disturbances

• Immediately reporting security breaches to designated law enforcement agents

• Performing maintenance checks on security systems and equipment

• Documenting observations and surveillance activities

• Adhering to security industry regulations

• Proficient with using online scheduling app; smartphone is required

• Punctual in attendance

• Professional appearance

• Be attentive while on duty

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age

• Prior law enforcement, correction, and/or military background preferred, but not mandatory

• Be able to reach, bend, and lift 50 pounds

• Be able to walk and/or work in a standing position for extended periods of time

• Proficient written and oral communication skills

• Must be available/willing to work all shifts, including weekends

• MUST be available to work on Friday evenings in the fall (our busiest time of year).

• Satisfactory completion of PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Clearance, and FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
