GA Foods is hiring an Older American Act and Child Nutrition Account Manager. This role manages the execution of client relationships and activities to ensure that GA Foods grows market share and provides outstanding customer service across assigned territory.
Basic Purpose:
Will be responsible for proactive and effective communication while serving as a Client Advocate to resolve problems, consult with clients about GA Foods products and services, and provides client feedback & recommendations to GA Foods organization on how to improve products and services. Performance measurements are based on client retention and growth for assigned territory and the effectiveness of meeting customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage development of client activities to grow market share base for GA Foods, to include:
- Participate in transition meetings for new accounts with sales and operations
- Understand the business needs of each account
- Solve client's business problems & provide thought leadership
- Support & deliver marketing programs to assigned accounts
- Develop strategic business relationships with each assigned client.
- Meet or exceed GA Foods business objectives for market growth and customer satisfaction
- Conduct business with high integrity, honesty and pride
- Identify and establish referral accounts for new sales opportunities
- Provide customer feedback and recommendations to internal G.A Food Service organization to improve products and services
- Prioritize and manage multiple account activities
- Cooperatively work with GA Foods internal organizations (sales, & marketing) to meet Client & GA Foods business objectives
- Support sales initiatives by identifying new opportunities, helping customers understand the business benefit of new services, and supporting the overall sales process (lead generation, RFP responses, sales presentations, & transition meetings)
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Healthcare, Social Work, Nursing or Nutrition, or Account Services preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience (5 years min.)
- 3 - 5 years of business experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Account Services
- Care Manager
- Nutrition
- Self-starter
- Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven customer relationship skills (interpersonal skills)
- Excellent communications skills (oral, written, & presentation skills)
- Demonstrated ability to influence people and get results through others
- Problem analysis and resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level

Travel Expectations: Up to 20% - combination of local and regional based on assigned territory
