Full Time / Days
Responsible for care and safety of patients of all ages who come under his/her care. Responsible for assisting physicians during procedures by having all instrument, equipment, and supplies needed for surgical procedures. The primary focus of this position is that of scrubbing on procedures and passing instruments to the surgeon. The surgical technologist may act as second assistant when required to do so. The surgical technologist participates in precepting of other surgical technologist and scrub nurses.

Education REQUIRED: High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of a formal surgical technologist program or comparable previous surgical technology experience |

Experience REQUIRED: Scrubbing experience obtained either through completion of a formal surgical technology program or previous scrub experience. |
