What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Care Specialist position at Gahanna Animal Hospital?
The Gahanna Animal Hospital is looking for hard-working animal lovers to become a part of our kennel team. We are seeking daytime and evening, part-time employees. We are a large, fast-paced practice with a fun and energetic group of employees.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Feeding and walking pets on a schedule
- Must exercise knowledge of animal care and behavior in order to care for boarding pets
- Occasional bathing, grooming of pets
- Cleaning and sanitizing cages, litter boxes, and dishes
- Laundry
- Cleaning and sanitizing other areas of the hospital
Applicants must also be comfortable being on their feet and interacting with clients, as we pride ourselves in great customer service.
