If you are a forward-thinker interested in a customer-focused, warehouse environment, then keep reading! We are searching for one Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our GAL Manufacturing team at Vantage Elevation.

Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
- Minimum high school or GED diploma
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Previous experience working in the elevator industry is a strong asset.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office Products and familiar software tools and operational procedures (i.e. ERP, Cycle Counting, Pick n Pack, Shipping and Receiving)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and highly flexible
- Works as part of a purpose-driven team fostering excellent communication while building a supportive working environment.
- The ability to operate a Stand-up Reach forklift is preferred.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and capable of physical labor.
- Bilingualism (Spanish) is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Warehouse Operations
- Maintaining a safe environment at all times through regular cleaning, organizing, preventative and predictive maintenance and adherence to Vantage safety protocols.
- Utilizing ERP (Infor Visual) for inventory transactions, receipts, transfers, reconciliations, ensuring timely and reliable data in the system.
- Receiving all inventory into the designated location, making sure to label every product with part number and correct location.
- Managing, maintaining and communicating inventory levels to support Production.
- Accurately picking material and transacting in the system for Staging.
- Report any discrepancies detected at the picking or physical count per location.
- Loading/Off-loading materials throughout the day in a safely manner, using Personal Protection Equipment at all times.
- Accurately cycle counting inventory at the designated location
- Work with QA on non-conformance items and tag accordingly.
- Placing orders for inventory as needed.
- Replenish pick locations from over stock areas following FIFO (First in, first out)
- Maintaining and organizing a clean warehouse to support Operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
