UX Architect

Job Title: UX Architect

Location: plano TX (4 days onsite 1 day remote)

W2/Fulltime

Client: Banking Sector

Key Responsibilities:
1. User Research & Analysis
Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
Analyze research findings to develop user personas, journey maps, and experience insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align business goals with user expectations.

2. Information Architecture (IA)
Define and organize content structures, site maps, and navigation systems to ensure logical and intuitive access to information.
Create taxonomy systems, labeling conventions, and metadata strategies for scalable content organization.

3. UX Strategy & Planning
Develop UX vision, roadmap, and guiding principles that support business and product strategies.

Advocate for user-centered design practices across the organization.
Align with product managers, business analysts, and development teams on UX priorities.

4. Interaction Design
Design detailed wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and low-to-high fidelity mockups.
Translate user research into interaction strategies and user interface solutions that drive engagement and satisfaction.
Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and device compatibility across designs.

5. Usability Testing & Validation
Plan and conduct A/B testing, heuristic evaluations, and usability sessions.
Analyze test results and recommend improvements to optimize the user experience.
Use tools like Figma, Sketch, Axure, or Adobe XD to test design concepts.

6. Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, product teams, and stakeholders to implement solutions.
Present and justify design decisions and architecture to senior leadership.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to design system governance.

7. Design Systems & Guidelines
Contribute to or help define design systems, style guides, and component libraries to maintain consistency across digital products.
Ensure adherence to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and UX best practices.

8. Continuous Improvement
Stay informed on UX trends, emerging technologies, and tools.
Measure user satisfaction and behavioral metrics to guide future improvements.
Recommend UX innovations that improve KPIs such as engagement, retention
