Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Lead Retail Service Representative to join our vibrant retail team. In this pivotal role, you will lead daily store operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions to ensure smooth functioning.
- Work alongside management & coworkers to provide effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage inventory control processes such as stocking, merchandising, purchasing, and basic inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Oversee customer service interactions by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Apply marketing strategies as requested within the store to promote sales initiatives and enhance product visibility.
- Maintain accurate timeclock records, bookkeeping, budgeting, and sales reports to support store financial health.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and store policies while fostering a positive workplace culture rooted in communication skills and leadership.
Experience
- Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience within retail or grocery stores with demonstrated leadership within those roles.
- Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train staff and communicate with diverse customers and upper management.
- Experience with POS systems, purchasing processes, and retail math for pricing and sales management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and build rapport with customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong product presentation abilities.
- Must have basic computer skills, with ability to interact with online software programs, search engines, websites, Excel, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while multitasking across various responsibilities, such as stock management, customer service, administrative tasks, and in-store projects on time, while keeping up with customer needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,630.00 - $41,600.00 per year
