What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architect – S/4HANA FICO position at Galent?
Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design for S/4HANA FICO migration projects.
• Provide strategic guidance on brownfield conversion from ECC to S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and data migration.
• Define and enforce best practices for configuration, customization, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with offshore teams in India to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Support project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of SAP FICO experience, with at least 1 successful brownfield S/4HANA conversion.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture, Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and Central Finance.
• Expertise in migration tools like SUM with DMO, Readiness Check, and Simplification Item List.
• Proven experience in data migration, system conversion, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours (EST) to support teams across Pacific and India time zones.
