About the Role:
As a Personal Assistance Services (PAS) Worker, you will offer essential, hands-on support to individuals with physical disabilities, chronic illnesses, or cognitive conditions so they can live independently in their own homes and communities.
This is a non-medical, direct care role under the OLTL Medicaid waiver programs (including Community HealthChoices, OBRA, and Act 150).
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and transferring, including use of mobility aids
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, based on dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, dishwashing, and general tidying
- Provide medication reminders (note: you do not administer medications)
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation
- Maintain clear and timely care documentation and communication
- Escort or transport clients to appointments or errands as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:Required:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and time management skills
Clearances (Required):
- FBI Fingerprinting (Act 114)
- PA State Police Background Check (Act 34)
- PA Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- Negative TB Test within the last year

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR & First Aid Certification (Highly preferred)
- Experience in personal care, caregiving, or home health
- Familiarity with OLTL waiver programs or Medicaid-funded home care
- Experience working with individuals with physical or developmental disabilities
Schedule Options:
- 4-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
- Morning, day, evening, overnight shifts available
- Monday through Friday, rotating weekends, or weekends only
